Domain Binding and Activation Limits
Some products enforce domain binding and a maximum number of installations. When enabled for a product, the software must activate the key once per installation before validation can succeed for that domain.
Activate an installation
Send license_key and domain to:
https://domain.com/extensions/licenses/activate

Repeated activation of the same domain does not consume an extra slot. Validation only returns valid: true for a domain that was activated when domain binding is enabled.
Deactivate an old installation
Send license_key and domain to:
https://domain.com/extensions/licenses/deactivate
The customer can then activate the new installation.
Products without domain binding
When domain binding is disabled for a product, no domain activation is required. Check the configuration of the specific product before advising a customer about installation limits.
